• The Antimatter bike rack is so lightweight and fast to install that we recommend storing it inside your car when not in use rather than partially blocking access to your vehicle’s tail gate and trunk.  
• In an effort to keep the antimatter bike rack simple and light weight, a upward folding mechanism at the receiver was engineered as an accessory that will soon be available.
• The folding mechanism is already available through third parties, you’ll find with a quick search on your favorite retailer.
• The upward an downward folding mechanisms are quite heavy so we recommend using one as an accessory. They are not Incorporated into the bike rack due to the additional 15 lbs of undesirable weight when using your rack.
• Many companies try to incorporate folding receivers to store the rack on the automobile. This is because their racks are too heavy and difficult to removed and install.   Or they try tilt-away receivers to allow access to the rear of the vehicle, which are also ineffective as they don't provide nearly enough space to access SUV hatches or trunks.  They add lots of weight to the rack and don't accomplish their objectives well.
